Add some military style to your spring wardrobe..
Spring has sprung & with it we can start wearing lighter layers. We here at the beauty brief have been thinking about ways to make a spring statement & we think wearing some key military style is a great way to go if you were looking for some inspiration.
Alice tried out the look here, and I must say with her red hair it looks super. All those green hue’s compliment red hair, it is such a great colour for us red heads to wear. Often green can be a go to colour for us redheads, in an array of shades. My personal favourite is ivy green.
Alice styled this look with a crew neck black top from Reiss, black leather skirt from Zara and she also wore a leopard print belt stolen from her mums closet.
Alice completed this whole look with a low pony, her hair had a tousled wave at the ends, to make the whole look softer. She styled the military look in a feminine, chic way. The military style doesn’t need to be bordering on androgynous and I think it is a super way to sass up your spring time wardrobe.
“I love this military jacket, it’s so versatile. I would wear it with jeans or leather trousers and in the summer months switch it up with a pleated skirt or white dress with little ankle boots. I think military jackets always look stylish and never really go out of fashion. Keep it classic or rock it up in a gypsy biker meets Johnny Depp type look. Military jackets will never die out.”
This jacket is called ‘Gordon’ is £449, this is part of Elizabeth Martin Tweeds collection and is designed and made in Scotland using Harris Tweed.
Here are some photographs from Elizabeths Spring Summer shoot with this military jacket.
